What does a private nurse do?
Your nurse’s responsibilities will be tailored to suit your individual needs and your unique situation. Our nurses can provide services that fall under their license as a nurse and also help you with activities of daily living like bathing, dressing and meal preparation. Our nurses can help you with a smooth transition from the hospital to home and help to avoid frequent trips to the emergency room by providing comprehensive care and nursing oversight for you wherever you call home. Our nurses can also travel with you both domestic and international if needed.
What services will the nurse provide for me?
Our nurses can provide services such as taking your vital signs, wound care and dressings, diabetic care, post surgical monitoring, cosmetic surgery aftercare, catheter care, home oxygen management, administration of IV fluids and IV medications as well as full comprehensive medication management.
We offer a wide variety of specialized services for our clients living with complex and chronic diseases such as diabetes, stroke, Parkinson’s Disease, dementia, cardiac disease and cancer.
Are your services covered by insurance?
Advantage Nursing Care services are private pay and invoices are sent to our clients directly. We do not invoice any type of insurance our clients my have.
Do you have a minimum number of hours required to benefit from Advantage Nursing Care?
No- We will tailor your unique nursing care plan to your needs and will provide the number of hours based on your care needs.
What other services do you provide in addition to nursing care?
We offer caregiver services for our clients who needs assist their activities of daily living but may not need the skill of a nurse. We also offer medical escort services for medical appointments or to attend family events.
